Fishing

The fishing is great in the Sea of Cortez. The best months for fishing are May, June, July & August. If you plan to fish the Sea of Cortez during your visit, full access and use of Casa Cardonal’s fishing boat (Panga), which includes a boat captain/guide, fishing gear, and fuel, is available for an additional fee. The challenge and excitement of landing that “big one” will really cap off your vacation experience.

Scuba, Snorkle & Swim

Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park boasts the only living coral reefs in Western North America and is renowned for its reef-protected swimming and boating, miles of empty beaches for hiking & beach combing, great snorkeling & scuba diving, sea kayaking, world-class wind surfing & deep sea fishing.

Hiking and Exploring

Hiking and horse-riding treks offer unparalleled natural beauty: wildlife, springs, and an endless amount of colorful vegetation. In Los Cabos and the surrounding area you can hike in impressive canyons and estuaries where you can see a wide array of flora and fauna. You can also mount a horse or an all-terrain vehicle and ride along the beach or across dunes. In mountain zones, with a breathtaking view of the ocean and the desert, you can find many rock formations for rappelling. Estero de San Jose de Cabo: A protected area in the heart of San Jose del Cabo. This tropical sanctuary is home to more than 150 bird species, and offers many options for hiking and enjoying the wildlife of this natural paradise.
